The Founder

Before launching her namesake label in 2005, Ulrika led a successful career as an interior and fashion stylist, traveling the globe with publications such as Vogue and Elle. Ulrika has won several awards such as The Golden Button in 2014, for best designer, Elle award for Best Accessory Brand and Prize of Honour Award.

In 2010 Ulrika founded an independent, biannual print magazine of the same name. Rika magazine is Ulrikas tool to show the world what inspires her, her philosophy. Ulrika looks at women as muses with each issue featuring, and celebrating fearless, strong women in creative industries.

The Rika world is constantly evolving with each new project complementing the existing. Staying true to her vision, Ulrika only enters projects that she truly believes in.

Rika Studios

Our vision is to create a simple, cohesive wardrobe that will age beautifully. Designed and created consciously, worn religiously, and never to be discarded. A wardrobe to be built on slowly and maintain relevance, each piece carefully constructed and never over-designed.

Each piece is created in close partnership with our European family-run ateliers, with the finest craftsmanship and quality fabrics that are fundamental for our collections of tailored wardrobe staples.

Many of the pieces are cut generously, with an oversized relaxed ease; masculine silhouettes and details pairing seamlessly with feminine tailoring.

Rika Studios is closely connected to Founder and Creative Director, Ulrika Lundgren; her personal style and the inspiration she gains from like-minded women. “I’m very much inspired by the women I have around me; I’m always thinking of their character and style and how they would wear these clothes.”

Keeping the attention on our wardrobe and collaborations we believe in, projects and partnerships are developed from shared visions with artists and creative women around the world.

We strive to continually bring our makers and materials into focus; sharing how we work, the eco-friendly, natural fibres we use and the small family-run businesses whom we couldn’t create without.
